The staff were nice and friendly. Good location for a stop over.
The room was really old and in need of an upgrade desperately.

Pool was nice to have.
Window in room was broken and cereal at complimentary breakfast was infested with small ants.

The only thing good about the place was how close it was to the interstate.
There was tons I didn't like about the hotel. It stunk. It looked like nothing had been done to it since the 70's (or even 60's). It was very unsafe. The chairs in my room were broke. I stayed for two nights and they didn't even come clean the room in between the two nights. The shower was gross. I couldn't even bring myself to use it. I had to go to a friends house to use hers. When I went to check out, they didn't even speak to me. They have sliding glass doors (the extremely unsafe part) and there were beer bottles outside my door. I felt so uncomfortable there that I packed all of my things up when I left after the first day because I was afraid to leave it there until I got back. The only reason I stayed the second night is because it would have been less than 24 hour notice and therefore would have paid for the room either way. I have never stayed in a hotel this bad before in my life.

The price
The appearance is poor. The outside looks rundown. The rooms are clean enough however with a very smoky smell even in nonsmoking rooms. The matress was very firm.

closeness of this hotel to the highway.
a funny smell if you walk into the hall, the height of the grass, (it wasn't mowed), and the pool was green with algae.

Friendly staff that checked me in late!
It is bare bones! Hard mattress, flat pillow, stained and rough towels. Ok, for quick overnight and we were sooo tired that we tried not noticing what we didn't have.

It was the scariest hotel I have ever stayed in. If it was not for us only staying one night and me losing my job a few weeks ago we would have cut or losses and gotten a better room at a better facility. Ants in the vending machine, I asked for a king bed and pretty sure they gave me a queen (if not smaller), there was pet hair everywhere, hair in the ice, no plastic bag for the ice, the "continental breakfast" was cheap and not appetizing, the bed was bouncy and squeaky, the lighting was horrible, security was lacking, and the pool was disgusting!
